MEMORIES 🙂

Memories are like mosquitoes. They are always there no matter how hard you try to get rid of them. They always come whenever it's convenient for them, literally sharing your blood until they are full! Memories are like mosquitoes They hum consistently in your ears whether you wish to have them there or not. Repellant after repellant and the painful sound still lingers. Often times you would feel their wings on your skin: but that could've been your imagination.  Memories are like mosquitoes You may even try to smack them down but each time you would miss and hurt yourself.  Memories are like mosquitoes There's the good and the bad, one feeds and  leaves the other makes you sick Memories are like mosquitoes Most times they ring in your ears: a never ending reminder! Most of them skillfully mind their business and lazy around, only to be seen when needed. Memories are like mosquitoes They never go away... MEET THE WRITER❣️ My name is Ogunbodede Deborah. LOVE YOU, SALAD❣️

While growing up, I was never a fan of the 'Nigerian Salad'. One of two Nigerians sees Salad as a mix of; Romaine lettuce, hard boiled Eggs, Carrots, Cucumber, Baked beans, Sweet Corn and salad cream. I'm yet to understand is how this particular combination of ingredients became the Nigerian Salad, for most Nigerians salad is an important dish on the menu. Every Owambe(Party) you attend, you are sure to be served this particular salad alongside Jollof rice or fried rice. A salad is a dish that consists of mixtures of raw or cooked vegetables, fruit, and sometimes accompanied by meat, fish, or other ingredients. However, different varieties of salad may contain virtually any type of ready-to-eat food. With time, I discovered other ways of making salad, some of which do not follow  the standard salad recipe.  This gives room for creative, such as taking out ingredients you don't like and adding the ingredients you like,  anything that satisfies your taste buds.   ...

THE ART OF BRANDING 💯

Branding is an essential part of product promotion, it defines your product and gives it "the look". For instance, when you think about Pepsi (soda drink), some of the first things that would probably come to your mind are the shape of the bottle, the colorful blue and red LOGO, then the taste. As essential as a brand identity can be, finding that unique color that creates the feel and resonate your brand name could be tricky at times. Design is the silent ambassador of your brand.   - Paul Rand A couple of years back, I took some design classes that opened my eyes to the relationship between colours, images and text in branding.  Branding is essential in gaining traction for products and services. I leveraged on this and offered quite a number of branding services for few companies.  Some clients were thrilled at the first gaze of my concept, while for others, the designs were to be done again and again. Either way, I was able to maintain a satisfied clientele. Below are...
