Memories are like mosquitoes.

They are always there no matter how hard you try to get rid of them.

They always come whenever it's convenient for them, literally sharing your blood until they are full!

They hum consistently in your ears whether you wish to have them there or not.

Repellant after repellant and the painful sound still lingers.

Often times you would feel their wings on your skin: but that could've been your imagination.

You may even try to smack them down but each time you would miss and hurt yourself.

There's the good and the bad, one feeds and 

leaves the other makes you sick

Most times they ring in your ears: a never ending reminder!

Most of them skillfully mind their business and lazy around, only to be seen when needed.

My name is Ogunbodede Deborah.

I hail from Ondo state, Nigeria.

I'm currently studying geology at Ekiti state University, Nigeria. 

I started writing in junior high, where I wrote stories about Barbie. It was just a hobby but now I have grown to love it, for it helps me escape into a world of my own. I dabble in different genres of writing. This is the first time I'm sharing my work, I believe you will enjoy it😊
